The Harvest weekend always begins with a supper on the Friday evening when between 40 and 50 people sit down to a three course meal.
1998 saw great changes at the chapel. Previously there was a wooden floor and fixed pulpit. This floor became rotten and had to be replaced with concrete. To do this the pulpit had to be removed and it was not possible to re-use it.
Today there is a fitted carpet throughout, with 65 padded chairs. The pulpit is free standing on a 9 inch portable dais. There is also a small quiet room for prayer. The fitted kitchen has a double electric oven, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher.
The chapel itself has a suspended ceiling and the whole building has gas central heating.
The front porch now has double doors and the original wooden fence has been replaced with a small brick wall. Access for the disabled is complete.
